The baroque castle Baldern was built between 1718 and 1737 on the ruins of a castle from the Staufer era. Initially founded as residence for the earls of Oettingen-Baldern, it now holds elegantly furnished salons and rooms of past epochs. A point of interest is the private weapons collection featuring more than 800 exhibits from over 5 centuries.
