One of the two central event locations, the “Electoral Castle”, is located directly on the Rhine, not far from the historical district of Koblenz with its rich cultural life, the numerous museums, the history-charged squares, small boutiques and large shopping galleries. Convening or celebrating where once kings and princes resided. Electoral prince Clemens Wenzeslaus had the electoral castle built from 1777 to 1786 in French classicist style.
